BAPPENAS
The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas has tasks and functions in the planning and budgeting of national development. Development planning is outlined in: a 20-year long-term framework through the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN); a 5-year medium-term framework through the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN); and annually through the Government Work Plan (RKP).
These planning documents serve as references in the strategic planning (Renstra) of sectoral ministries and agencies, including Regional Governments (K/L/D).
The mentioned planning is related to funding allocation, especially development funding through the State Budget (APBN). In addition, Bappenas is also tasked with promoting non-APBN funding through grant contributions, including bilateral cooperation grants with GIZ Indonesia.
